• Clean Roadside Inspections

Roadside inspections are a vital part of the safety program here at Jacobson. Along with accidents, these inspections are what the DOT uses to evaluate the status of motor carriers. It is critical that we do all we can to have zero violations at these reviews. The driver can control the outcome of inspection. Along with the carrier rating there are several reasons why violation free inspections are essential to Jacobson:


• Avoid paying costly fines.
• Following a clean inspection, chances are that the inspector will have a favorable view of Jacobson for the next driver that he/she sees.
• As a professional driver, violations can have an impact on employment.
• It’s the right thing to do! We all have a moral and ethical responsibility to operate safely with the safest equipment possible.

We realize how important the driver is in obtaining zero violation inspections; therefore, we are enhancing our program by awarding drivers for positive inspections. For any level inspection that you receive no violations you will be awarded a Jacobson specific prize to choose from. These prizes are only a small token of our appreciation for the work that drivers do in obtaining zero violation inspections.
