Jacobson Companies, one of the nation’s largest third-party logistics companies with over 6,500 employees in 175 locations, has temporary to permanent Warehouse positions to join our Louisville, KY location. The primary responsibility of these positions are: • Receive inventory items by accepting deliveries, unloading vehicles, unpacking containers, ensuring inbound shipments are accurate and free of damage, writing up receivers for each delivery. • Process the receiving paperwork assuring count matches of specific assigned customer’s shipments, notifying customer of receipt, discrepancies, OS&D and delays. • Transfer orders received by routing or delivering items to the assigned locations, efficiently stacking orders per customer specifications. • Prepare shipments by picking orders for shipment, performing labeling, sorting, wrapping, packing, and re-packing as needed. • Load trailers to assure that cargo is loaded in a cube efficient manner. • Operate all company material handling equipment safely in an efficient and safe manner. This includes, forklift, pallet jacks, dock plates, hand trucks, and small package processing equipment such as UPS meter. • Perform data entry and inventory management.

| Requirements: |
• High school diploma or GED • 6+months experience on sit down forklift • Experience loading containers/rail cars/regular van trailers Candidates must pass pre-employment drug screen and background check.
