Lean/Six Sigma Strategy

Along with our Quality Management program for continuous improvement, Jacobson has developed a culture rooted in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, which are widely recognized and respected across all industries. Both Lean and Six Sigma methods directly address the key concepts in our Vision/Mission. Both emphasize continuous improvement, focusing all energy on the customer and on driving reliability (quality), driving competitive advantage (lower cost, increased speed), providing opportunities for employees (training, development, recognition), and most importantly, both prioritize safety.

Jacobson provides a fully trained Six Sigma team for our customers who have conducted several Lean/Six Sigma continuous improvement projects over the years. Jacobson's initiative of Lean and Six Sigma emphasize the use of teams in which all employees will get an opportunity for "hands-on" participation in projects or events where ideas for improvement are built from the ground up and best practices are created.
